Matt and his team at Woodvale Building completed a three room extension on our family home. The process was completely stress free from first meeting to completion. Having small kids at the time and a husband who worked away, it was of very high importance to us to be able to trust and get along with our builder as we would be living in the home during the renovations. We were most impressed with how Matt and his staff handled every facet of the build with professionalism whilst being understanding and caring towards our family needs. 

 

The renovation itself exceeded our expectations and we were most impressed  by how the old and the new married together perfectly. Matt was always easy to approach and took on our ideas with enthusiasm.

We are absolutely delighted with the final result of our home renovation. It is simply stunning and the original house has been transformed into a contemporary home, substantially increasing the value of the property. 

 

Matt has a very pleasant personality and was terrific to deal with throughout the renovation process. It was obvious from the start that he was passionate about renovating older homes and really wanted the best for ours. He embraced the vision we had for our home, and also offered advice and suggestions along the way.

 

On one occasion, he saw a potential problem with the placement of skylights that he felt if not changed, could lead to potential water damage. He consulted with others in the field before making his decision. The solution he offered,  added no extra cost and it is this type of problem solving skill that makes you feel your renovation is in good hands. We were kept informed throughout the whole process. As with all renovations, there were a couple of challenges that Matt was able to solve, always communicating clearly and honestly.

 

The quality of Matt’s workmanship was outstanding as was the work of his subcontractors. The passion that Matt had for our renovation, from day one, on every aspect, made us feel like he was renovating his own home.

 

We would have no hesitation to recommend or engage Matt on any future renovations.

We really enjoyed working with Matt. He’s been our go-to builder for a number of different projects. From fences, to a whole kitchen and bathroom remodel, we appreciated Matt's creativity and expertise. During the planning processes he was fantastic at helping us to decide on layouts that work both practically and aesthetically. Matt was great at helping us to make the most of both our budget and our space, and made sure that we were able to get the very best out of our project. He also helped us to think about how to “future proof” our spaces as much as we were able to, so that we weren’t wanting to change things as our circumstances changed.
